Two sessions at East Northamptonshire Council in Thrapston on Thursday, 28 September will explain how rural businesses can access European and other funding opportunities.
The sessions will run 10am – noon and 1-3pm and include networking opportunities as well one-to-one sessions with funding experts from LEADER, South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership, Northamptonshire Growth Hub and the council.
Business help and advice services will also be available and you can find out about the council’s new commercial initiative, Enterprising East Northants.
Su Davies, External Funding Manager at ENC explains: “This is a great opportunity to access funding and you can learn from the experts in the field. We’re encouraging as many rural local businesses as possible to come along and find out more. By the end of your session, you should have a draft stage one application to take away, enabling you to apply to either the LEADER Fund or the EAFRD Growth Programme.”
Grants can usually provide up to 40% of project costs and support a wide range of business development ideas, such as farm diversification, forestry projects, pubs and cafes, breweries and jam producers. Ring us if you’re not sure if you qualify.
Email Su Davies, firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01832 742191 to say which session you prefer to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
