Rothwell children decorate housebuilder’s Christmas tree
Local children helped to spread some festive cheer at a new homes development in Rothwell by decorating a Christmas tree on the site.
Persimmon Homes invited students from Rothwell Junior School to ‘bring a bauble’ to put on the Christmas tree at its Woodland Valley development in the town.
Bridget Leder, from Rothwell Junior School, said: “The children were thrilled to help decorate the tree for Persimmon. It was a lovely way for them to see how they could be part of the community.”
Claire Dearsley, sales director at Persimmon Homes Midlands, added: “Our Christmas tree decoration event at Woodland Valley was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
“The event was a lovely opportunity to bring together local people and bring some Christmas joy to the community.
“Woodland Valley is quickly establishing itself as a neighbourhood and we look forward to welcoming even more new residents in the coming months.”
The development, on Desborough Road, is planned to deliver a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes to suit a range of buyers.
